I am a recently gradutated graphic design student from the York University/Sheridan College Joint Program in Design in Toronto. The Grand Design

The Grand Design is a modern twist on classic book design. The first chapter of Robert Bringhurst’s “The
Elements of Typographic Style” is captured in this bible-sized book. The twist is in the pacing and structure of
the text. Designed for the contemporary reader, each page introduces a new paragraph, making the book
feel like a faster and easier read, while maintaining an aesthetic that contributes to the value of the words on
the page. This design instills a sense of progress.
